Keeping A Level Head

Being in business can be stress. Sometimes it can even be massive stress. Thus, if you’re going to keep a level head then you’d better find ways to relieve the pressure, kick back and remember that work is work: it’s not your entire life. Don’t ever let work take over your entire life, as that is undoubtedly a big mistake.

My top list of things you can do to relieve the stress, as of today (it changes weekly):

1) Watch Comedy Online . There are loads of places you can watch comedy online, and more than enough stand-up comedians around to keep all kinds of sense of humour’s entertained!

2) Go out for drinks with NON-WORK related friends. This means I am very likely not to have to think / talk about work. Certainly good therapy for forgetting about a stressful day.

3) Do yoga. I know it’s a cliché and to some people it’s a bit of a joke, but actually it really does help you out. You stay fit, flexible, and focus your mind on something. This can then be applied to your work, allowing you to make more money and feel much happier!

4) Get a monthly pass for the cinema: it’s very cheap, you can see as many films as you like, and it’s altogether better than sitting inside watching rubbish TV. Do you need any more reasons to go? If so then how about this: escapism is really quite good indeed.

5) Keep fit. You don’t need to run five times a week or go to the gym three times a week to stay fit. Why not get one of them Wi contraptions? They work a treat, you know, and they give you a way to keep yourself entertained and get fit without even thinking about it!
